Meet Your Provider
Compassionate Care Rooted in Experience
Nadia Simplice
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNPBC
Hello, and welcome!. I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over two decades of hands-on experience in healthcare, and the founder of HOPE CLINIC AND WELLNESS; a space created from both deep clinical expertise and a personal passion for delivering holistic, inclusive mental health care.
My journey began as a medical assistant serving patients from diverse backgrounds at a local community health center. That early exposure to health disparities and the real-life struggles of everyday people planted the seed for the provider I am today—one who listens deeply, respects lived experiences, and provides care with empathy at its core.
While attending nursing school, I worked night shifts as a phlebotomist at AdventHealth, eventually becoming a bedside RN, where I served for over 12 years across various high-acuity departments, including Progressive Care (PCU), Critical Care, and Cardiac Units. That experience taught me how to stay calm in chaos, advocate fiercely, and meet people in their most vulnerable moments.
After becoming a mother, I pursued my Master’s in Nursing while caring for a six-month-old baby, an experience that deepened my understanding of the physical and emotional demands women face while balancing family, identity, and ambition. I began my nurse practitioner career working in a psychiatric intake and admission unit, then transitioned to primary care, giving me a well-rounded perspective on whole-body wellness.
But mental health always pulled at my heart. I completed my post-master’s certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) through the University of Cincinnati. I have since spent the past six years dedicated solely to psychiatric care.
I launched HOPE CLINIC AND WELLNESS to bring mental health support to people in a way that feels personal, accessible, and affirming. My approach is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and holistic, integrating both medication management and supportive care tailored to your unique story, not just your symptoms.
As a mother, woman of color, and immigrant, I understand firsthand how layered and complex life can be. My goal is to walk beside you with expertise, honesty, and hope, helping you feel empowered and seen every step of the way.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, or simply craving a provider who gets it, I’m here to help you heal, reset, and thrive.
